Vegeta was a prince of the saiyans on a planet called "Vegeta" that was hundreds and hundreds of miles away from Earth's solar system until Frieza came along and destroy it because he was affaid that the saiyans would over power him! Frieza took prince Vegeta as one of his men. Thats about the time when Vegeta started looking for the 7 dragon balls that acquire immortality so that he could later defeat Frieza. This quest lead him to the planet Earth which he ended up staying there and meeting his wife Buruma(which I still wonder how they came to be so close, maybe because they have the same type of temper...who knows!)
